Summer Patios @ Louvino

One of my favorite things to do when the weather warms up is to find a patio and order some drinks, apps, and enjoy with friends. LouVino Restaurant & Wine Bar is one of the perfect places Louisville has to offer.

After a photoshoot of my friend and her husband, we ate at LouVino’s Douglass Hills’ location on their back patio. One of their specials was a cocktail/drink - a piña colada with a flavor of your choice. I went with the blackberry, and oh man… how refreshingly delicious it was! I am a huge fan of sweet drinks, and this HIT the spot. I hope they will have it all summer long!

To start things off, we got their duck fat frites with truffle aioli and upgraded it to be sprinkled with parmesan. The perfect combination of salty, umami and cheesy. Delish!

The table as a whole ordered from all over the map: we had spaghetti & meatballs, fried cod fish and chips, and an enchilada’s verde supremas. The enchiladas were mine, because enchiladas are my favorite meal! They topped this off with a verde tomatillo sauce and sugar snap peas.To end the meal, we then ordered their cookie dough filled beignets… do I need to say more? Chocolate Chip Cookie dough filled beignets.
